Cocagne, NB – Patricia Arsenault, 58, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 30, 2014, after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, NB on March 9, 1955, she was the daughter of Gérard and the late Eva (Jaillet) LeBlanc (2001).
Patricia worked for Work Safe NB for twenty-five years and was proud to have been a member of the Cocagne Fire Department Team. Patsy was loved by all and would go out of her way to help anybody. She was a very kind person and will be remembered.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jean-Paul; her two daughters, Sylvie Leger (André) and France Cormier (Rhéal) both of Shediac; her five brothers, Vincent (Jessica) of Greenwood, NS, Robert (Cindy) of Cocagne, Daniel (Chrissy) of Grande-Digue, Eugène of Shediac and Jean-Luc (Dorine) of Cap-Pelé; her three sisters, Monique LeBlanc of Cocagne, Lynn Leger (Bernard) of Grande-Digue and Alicia LeBlanc (George) of Shediac; her precious grandchildren, Marco, Mélodie and Maya; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In respect to Patricia’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur cemetery in Notre-Dame-de-Kent.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
