Patricia « Pat » Bastarache, 86, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Emma (née: Leger) Beckwith.
Mrs. Bastarache had worked at Marven’s. She along with her husband, Tommy managed and operated the Jamboree session on Sunday evening at the Red Barn in Dieppe.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas « Tommy »; three sisters: Diane, Marjorie and Phyllis; several nieces and nephews: Blair, Glen, Gail, Carole, Susan and Brian, as well as the extended Bastarache family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Thérèse and also by one brother, Wendell.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Monday, December 8th, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Providence Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
À sa résidence, le mardi 25 novembre 2014, à l’âge de 86 ans, est décédée Patricia « Pat » Bastarache. Elle demeurait à la Villa Providence, Shediac, autrefois de Dieppe, N.-B.
Née à Cap-Pelé, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Albert et de feu Emma (née Leger) Beckwith.
Mme Bastarache avait travaillé chez Marven’s. Elle avec son mari, Tommy ont digiré le jamboree du dimanche soir au Red Barn à Dieppe.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son mari, Thomas “Tommy”; trois soeurs: Diane, Marjorie et Phyllis; plusieurs neveux et nièces: Blair, Glen, Gail, Carole, Susan et Brian, ainsi que la grande famille Bastarache.
Outre ses parents, une soeur, Thérèse ainsi qu’un frère, Wendell, l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901) le lundi 8 décembre 2014 de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Sainte-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le mardi 9 décembre 2014 à 11h.
