Grande-Digue, NB – It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paul McCaie, who passed away at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Valmore and the late Jeannette McCaie (born LeBlanc).
Paul will be sadly missed by his children, Danielle McCaie (Justin Poirier) of Grande-Digue and Scott McCaie (Riviera Maxwell) of Moncton; his brother, Roger McCaie (Beth) of Sackville; his granddaughter, Olivia; also by several aunts, cousins and friends.
Paul found a lot of joy spending time with his granddaughter, Olivia. He enjoyed football, sailing and watching Formula 1 races with his friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children, Lucille.
Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 3 pm to 7 pm. As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no funeral service but rather the family will have a celebration of his life this summer.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the IWK Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
