Bouctouche, NB – Paul Cormier, 86, passed away peacefully at the Manoir St-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche on Monday, November 30, 2015, after a brief illness.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Onésime and the late Mélina (Duplessie) Cormier.
Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Lydia; his two sons, Rhéal and Arice both of Brossard, QC; his two daughters, Denise Cormier of Bouctouche and Diane Cormier (Clermont) of Saint-Rémi, QC ; his brother, Ronald of Bouctouche; his sister, Rosana Daigle (late André) of Bouctouche; his three grandchildren, Steeve, Patrick and Annie; his two great grandchildren, Maude and Julien; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant son, Joseph; one daughter, Nicole; three brothers, Aurèle, Alonzo, Emery; four sisters, Dorcas, Victorine, Léona and Annette.
As per request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at the St-Jean Baptiste RC Church in Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 4 pm. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
