Shediac River, NB (formerly of Scoudouc) – Paul G. Cormier, 87, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Friday, April 5 2019.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Lionel and the late Lilianne Cormier (born Langis).

Paul worked at CN as a Carman until his retirement. He was a member of the CN Pensioners Association. He was also in the Canadian Air Force for 5 years. Paul was involved in the Shediac Legion (Branch #33) for many years. He was a jack of all trade and liked to fix houses and cars. He always gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Paul you’ll be missed!

Paul leaves behind his children, Gerry, John (Sandy), Pauline (Greg), Andy (Donna), Nancy, Carol (Junior) and David; his nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; his sister, Jeanne Savard; he will be dearly missed by his long-time friend, Rachel and her two sons, Gilles (Diane) and Mario (Rachel); also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two sons, Ron and Raymond; his sister, Lorraine Goguen. Rest in Peace dear Paul !

As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to a charity of your choice.

We, the family would like to thank the staff of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for helping him during his illness.
