Paul Godin, 54, of Grande-Digue, NB, passed away accidently in Beardsley, NB on Friday, August 20, 2021.
Born in Sudbury, ON, he was the son of the late Leonard « Lash » and late Anne Marie (née: Gallant) Godin.
Paul worked in the trucking industry. He was a kind, loving, hard working man who lived for his family and friends. No matter what it was that he did, he did so whole heartedly. Paul loved to travel and dance, and he always had fun. Most would say he lived life to the fullest no matter the situation. His words of wisdom and advice will forever be with us.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Eileen (née: LeBlanc); his daughter, Amanda (Matthew Thibodeau) of Moncton; his son, Justin (Jessica Carter) of Lakeville; sons of the heart: Raymond (Krista) Godin and Justin (Kelsey) Poulin, both of St-Philippe; one brother, Gordy (Lorraine) of Grande-Digue; one grandson, Tyson and also by one nephew, Mike.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Eddie and also by one niece, Naomi.
Visitations will be held Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 from noon until time of service at the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), followed by a chapel service at 3 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association choice would be appreciated by the family

Paul travaillait dans le secteur de transport. Sa grande passion était sa famille et ses amies. Il était toujours prêt à donner un coup de main à quelqu’un dans le besoin et était bien connu et aimé par de nombreux membres de la communauté. Il manquera certainement à tous.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Paula Eileen (née LeBlanc); sa fille, Amanda (Matthew Thibodeau) de Moncton; son fils, Justin (Jessica Carter) de Lakeville; ses fils spéciaux: Raymond (Krista) Godin et Justin (Kelsey) Poulin, tous deux de Saint Philippe; un frère, Gordy (Lorraine) de Grande-Digue; un petit-fils, Tyson et aussi un neveu, Mike.
Outre ses parents, un frère Eddie et une nièce, Naomi, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901), le mercredi 25 août 2021 de midi jusqu’à l’heure du service, qui aura lieu à la chapelle à 15h.
L’inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à l’Association dystrophie musculaire du Canada serait apprécié par la famille.
