Born in, Campbelton, NB, he was the son of the late Kenneth and the late Lillian Keays (nee Gionet).
Raymond loved to play cards while having his tea in his special cup, a hard worker who could not sit still; always helping someone and he would try anything. He enjoyed telling jokes, he always had a new one every day. Raymond loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed a good cup of Tim Horton’s coffee.
Raymond will be missed by his wife, Rose-Marie Keays (nee Doucet) of Moncton; by his four daughters, Amanda Whynot (Devan)of Irishtown, Crystal Melara (Juan)of Moncton, Jennifer Keays of Moncton and Trish Jones (Mike) of St. John`s, NFLD; by his sisters, Eileen LeBlanc (Paul) of Moncton; by his two brothers Bobby (Carol) of Moncton and Gary of Dieppe; by his brother-in-law, George Albert of Riverview; by his four grandchildren, Veronique, Logan, Ethan and Madison; Raymond is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Isabell Albert.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton (corner West Lane) on Friday, November 18th, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be no visitation at the funeral home on Saturday morning. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grace RC Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at 11h00.
