Reginald Atkinson
1948 ~ 2021
Meadow Brook, NB, ~ Reginald Atkinson, 72, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021.
Born in Calhoun NB, he was the son of the late Harry and the late Jennie Atkinson born Taylor.
His working years were mainly in the construction, which he enjoyed with his many friends.
Reginald will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda (Mullin) Atkinson; his two sons, Lorne Atkinson of Calhoun and Boyd Atkinson of Moncton; three sisters, Glenna, Clara (Tom) and Nancy (Chester); his brother, Russell (Diana); four grandchildren, Danny, Dylan, Emma and Trystan; four great-grandchildren, Navea, Cameron, Cruze and Wade; as well as many cousins nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Reginald was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia (Claud) and Emily (Austin); three infant siblings, Joan, Garry and Garnet.
Honoring Reginald’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Calhoun’s United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
