Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Yves Goguen of Moncton and Denise Goguen (nee LeBlanc) of Moncton.

Besides his parents, Rémi (the King of the one liners) will be sadly missed by his sister, Astrée Goguen of Moncton; by his paternal grand-parents, Normand and Florine Goguen of Dieppe; he will be dearly missed by his uncle Ronald whom he worked closely; also survived by several, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rémi was predeceased by maternal grand-parents, Jean and Anita LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 from 9:00am till the time of funeral. A celebration of life for Rémi will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at 10:30am.
