Éric Belliveau, 95, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, and formerly of Saint-Anselme, passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Saint-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Philias and the late Marie (née: Leger) Belliveau.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Belliveau worked as a farmer in Saint Paul and as caretaker for the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery in Dieppe. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Saint-Paul and Saint-Anselme parish.
He is survived by five daughters: Simone Belliveau (Rhéal Léger), Florence (Maurice) Gaudet and Rosella Belliveau, all three of Dieppe, Fernande Belliveau (Charles Goguen) of Grande-Digue and Carmel Belliveau (Dr. Yves-Martin Robichaud) of Shediac; two step-daughters: Roberte (Yvon) Arsenault and Elise Cormier (Doug); six step-sons: Raoul (Marie-Thérèse), Léopold, Rhéal (Camilla), Ulysse (Jeannine), Raymond (Claudette) and Gilles; three sisters: Marguerite LeBlanc of Saint-Paul, Cécile Comeau of Moncton and Sr. Délia Belliveau ndsc, of Dieppe; one brother, Alderice of Ottawa, ON; 14 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Christian, Sylvie, Andrée, Annie, Manon, Xavier, Janie, Sophie, Gino, Sean, Emilie, Valérie and Damien; 8 great grandchildren: Éric, Laurent, Natalya, Sébastien, Léa, Jules, Aurélie and Isabelle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Dorice (née: Cormier) in 1976; his 2nd wife, Anise (née: Cormier) in 2014; two sisters: baby Eva and Eva and also by four brothers: Gérald, Léo, Laurie and Ulysse.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 9: 30am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.

À sa résidence, le vendredi 17 novembre 2017, à l’âge de 95 ans, est décédé Éric Belliveau. Il demeurait à la Villa du Repos, autrefois de Saint-Anselme.
Né à Saint-Paul, N.-B., il était fils de feu Philias et de feu Marie (née Leger) Belliveau.
Avant sa retraite; M. Belliveau était fermier à Saint-Paul et concierge au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe. Il était membre du Club d’Age d’Or de Saint-Paul et de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.
Il laisse dans le deuil cinq filles: Simone Belliveau (Rhéal Léger), Florence (Maurice) Gaudet et Rosella Belliveau, toutes trois de Dieppe, Fernande Belliveau (Charles Goguen) de Grande-Digue et Carmel Belliveau (Dr Yves-Martin Robichaud) de Shediac; deux belles-filles: Roberte (Yvon) Arsenault et Elise Cormier (Doug); six beaux-fils: Raoul (Marie-Thérèse), Léopold, Rhéal (Camilla), Ulysse (Jeannine), Raymond (Claudette) et Gilles; trois soeurs: Marguerite LeBlanc de Saint-Paul, Cécile Comeau de Moncton et Sr Délia Belliveau ndsc, de Dieppe; un frère, Alderice d’Ottawa, ON; 14 petits-enfants: Gabrielle, Christian, Sylvie, Andrée, Annie, Manon, Xavier, Janie, Sophie, Gino, Sean, Emilie, Valérie et Damien; 8 arrière-petits-enfants: Éric, Laurent, Natalya, Sébastien, Léa, Jules, Aurélie et Isabelle; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son épouse en premier noce, Dorice (née Cormier) en 1976; son épouse en deuxième noce, Anise (née Cormier) en 2014; deux soeurs: bébé Eva et Eva, ainsi que quatre frères: Gérald, Léo, Laurie et Ulysse l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le mardi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi de 9h 30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, le mercredi 22 novembre 2017, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial Saint-Anselme, Dieppe.
Un don à la Fondation Villa du Repos – «Programme de loisirs – Unité 500» serait apprécié par la famille.
