Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adélard and Delphine (Bourgeois) Pellerin.
Rita will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Yvette (Jean) Allain of Cocagne, Lorraine (Bernard) Leger of Bouctouche Sud; her two sisters, Marie (Joe) Hancoch, Aline (late Roland) Cincolta both of Waltham, Mass; her three grandchildren, Marc, Lisa and Sandra; her four great grandchildren, Sheldon, Lyam, Pierre-Olivier and Alexia-Maude; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar; her four sisters, Amanda, Suzanne,Géralda, Edmée; her brother, Laurie; her infant sister Aline and her infant brother Joseph.
Visitations will be at the Slumber Room at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne, on Thursday March 16, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday, March 17 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11 am. A reception will follow.
Donations to Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Alzheimer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
