Haute-Aboujagane, NB – Rita Léger, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Monday, October 28, 2019.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gallant and the late Marguerite Hébert.

Rita will be sadly missed by her husband, Gilles Léger; by her three sons, Eugène Léger of Cap-Pelé, Armand Léger of Moncton and Guillaume Léger (Nicole) of Haute-Aboujagane; by her daughter, Noëlla Cormier (Victor) of Cap-Pelé; by her brother, Richard Gallant (Noëlla) of Gardner, Mass.; by her seven grandchildren, Kevin, Patrice, Liette, Mélany, Sophie, Joëlle and Cassidy; and three great grandchildren, Kacey, Charlie and Kelsey.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Murielle (2016); and four brothers, Albert, Léo, Henri and Yvon.

In respect of Rita’s wishes, there will be a private visitation, followed by a private funeral service at a later date.
