Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Thaddée and the late Élise (Bastarache) Richard.
Prior to retirement, Bob worked for Atlantic Beverages.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Louise (Bourgeois); his daughter, Gisèle Bissonnette (Bob) of Shediac; his sons: Maurice (Terri) of Shediac Bridge and Bernard (Patty) of Saint-Philippe; his sisters: Marie Mazerolle (late Alfred) and Diane McLaughlin (Tiny) of Dieppe; his brother, Raymond (Linda) of Moncton; his grandchildren: Natalie, Danielle, Chantal, Lyne and Martin; his great grandchildren: Jacques, Kieran, Cassie-Lynn, Misha, Michael and Stevie, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda; his siblings: Paul, Antoine, Jeanne, Corinne and Bertha.
Visitation will be held from Passage, Shediac Bridge on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service.
Funeral service will be held from Passage Chapel, Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 10:30 am.
A donation can be made to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
