Notre-Dame, NB – Robert Cormier, 78, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Born in Memramcook, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and Edna (Boudreau) Cormier.
Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, Bernadette; his two daughters, Maria (Lloyd) Taylor and Ginette (Daniel) Goulet, both of Cocagne; his son, Michel of Moncton; his five sisters, Irene (Paul) Bourgeois of Memramcook, Anna (Laurie) Richard of Dieppe, Annette (Charles) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Yvonne (Béatrice) and Bernadette, both of Montreal, QC; his five brothers, Gerard (Pierette) of Montreal, QC, Yvon (late Germaine), Arthur (Bernice), both of Memramcook, Alonzo (Donna), Roger (Mimi), both of Dieppe; his eight grandchildren, Robert, Joel, Julie, Jolyne, Christine, Katia, Alexie, Bianca; his 2 great grandchildren, Jordan-May, Kaelan; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Daniel and two sisters, Rita and Claudette.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. No visitation on Monday morning. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11 am. Reception to follow.
