Shediac Bridge, NB – Robert J. Fougère, 81, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Born in Shediac Island, NB on January 29, 1933, he was the son of the late François and Régina (Boucher) Fougère.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, Ethel (Richard); his son, Ronald (Odette) of Shediac Bridge; his daughter, Betty Goguen (Réjean) of Cocagne; his four brothers, Roger (late Dorine) of Shediac Bridge, Ronald (late Catherine) of Cap Pelé, Clarence (late Maria) of Moncton, René (Geneva) of Waltham, MASS; his sister, Alice Léger (late Joseph) of Shediac; his four grandchildren, Annik, Marcia, Celia, Mario; his two great-grandchildren, Kahlan and Arya; and also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, Willie and Léandre; three sisters, Rita, Lina and Jeanne.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, March 19th from 6 pm until time of the funeral that will be held at the Passage Chapel at 7 pm.
