It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodrigue R. Landry of Moncton, who died at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Friday, February 7th, 2020.

Born in College Bridge, he was the son of the late Raymond and the late Aline (LeBlanc) Landry.

First and foremost, Rodrigue lived believing in his loving God. He was a man of unwavering faith, loving, generous, kind, funny, compassionate, a wonderful husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed.

  Try not to be sad; trust in what Rodrigue believed – he will be made new and he will rejoice in the promise of eternal life with his loving Lord.

Rodrigue will be missed by his stepchildren: Danny McGraw (Anne), André McGraw (Darlene) and Jean McGrath (John); grandchildren: Matthew and Joseph McGraw; siblings: Conrad (Blanche), Josanne Leger (Gene), Daniel (Barbara) and Maurice (Ginette); nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents; he was predeceased by his wife, Léa Landry in 2018; his brother, Robert and sister, Bertrande Vienneau (Henri).

« There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain,

for the old order of things has passed away."

No visitation at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Rd., Moncton on Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at 11 am.

Interment will be in the spring at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901).
