Cocagne, NB – Roger Caissie, 89, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Georges and the late Alice Caissie (born Després).
Roger will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years of marriage, Carmella Caissie (born Cormier); his children, Jean-Paul (Janice Gautreau), Simonne Goguen (Gilles) both of Cocagne, Gilles (Lise Leger) of Notre-Dame and Roland (Monique Noël) of Cocagne; his grandchildren, Ronald, Jean, (Carole), Lisa (late Ronald), Diane (Nicolas), Corinne (Travis), Josée (John), Monika (Joseph), Martin and Réjean; his great grandchildren, Anika, Jean-Marc, Nadia, Marco and Niko; his siblings, Georgeline Leger (late Yvon) of St-Antoine, Gloria Boudreau (late Emery) of Memramcook, Normand (Thérèse) of Cocagne, Norma LeBlanc (Alain) of St-Anselme; his sisters-in-law, Elva, Florence and Alma; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, David, Irma (Willie), Omer (Géralda), Ulysse and Donald.
Visitation will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne slumber room, on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 9 am to 11 am and from 12 pm until time of Funeral Service at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to a charity of your choice.
