Moncton, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Chase, 88, on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Moncton Hospital.
Born in Adamsville, NB, he was the son of the late William and the late Angeline Chase (Arsenault).
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 59 years: Lorraine Chase (Bernard); his children: Nancy (Danny) and Carl (Ginette); his grandchildren: Justin, Ryan, Jacob whom he loved all so much. His family was his everything; he leaves also behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Being the last member of his family, he was predeceased by his brothers: Tommy, Clifford, Maynard, Israël and Joseph; his sisters: Annie LeBlanc, Rita Gauvin, Dora Chase and Roma Arsenault.
Ron retired from Co-op Atlantic with 31 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved everything about nature, fishing and hunting. His stories will be with us forever. Everyone he met loved him. Ron was also an avid sports fan, being a true Toronto Maple Leafs fan. His love for music was an every day part of his life, from signing alone to karaoke with his brother Joe and listening to the old country show music on Rogers.
The Celebration of the life of Mr. Ronald Chase that was scheduled for this Thursday in Adamsville has been postponed to Monday, November 1st, 2021 and will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel of Moncton(625, Mountain rd) at 1pm. Due to the restrictions related to the current pandemic, double vaccination and wearing a mask will be mandatory and required at the entrance of the funeral home.
