Cocagne, NB – Rose-Marie Bourque, 66, passed away suddenly at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Hilda (LeBlanc) Landry.
Rose-Marie was a generous housewife who had a heart of gold. She had a great sense of humour, some say she could’ve even made a rock laugh. Rose-Marie had a great passion for flowers, she found great comfort in doing arrangements for headstones for others. Gardening was something she enjoyed dearly. She loved planting flowers and vegetables during the summer. Rose-Marie was passionate by arts and crafts. She occupied her time with pottery, painting and knitting. She loved spending time with her husband on their hunting trips and also enjoyed fishing trouts at the pond at their camp.
Rose-Marie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, André Bourque; her son, Lloyd (Angel) of Cocagne; her brother, Donat (late Maria) Landry of Cocagne; her two sisters, Elyanne (Clarence) Légere of Ste-Marie and Joy Landry of Cocagne; her granddaughter, Émilie; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dolores; her brother, Yvon and her special nephew, Richard.
As per Rose-Marie’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac-Bridge on April 28, 2017 at 4:00pm. A reception will follow.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
