Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB – Ruth Cormier, 78, passed away suddenly at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Friday, January 8th, 2016.
Born in Leominster, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Ruth (Flynn) Keaveny.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her sister, Patricia Brown (Joseph) of Leominster, Mass.; her four sisters-in-law, Linda McDonald (Gérald) of St-Paul, Doris Després (Oscar) of Westminster, Mass., Alice Gaudet (late Tony) of Gardner, Mass., and Imelda Cormier of North Carolina; also by several, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Pierre; her sister, Mary and two brothers-in-law, Hector and Walter.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 from 2 pm until time of service at Passage Funeral Chapel, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge at 3 pm. Burial will take place this spring at the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel RC Cemetery in Ste-Marie-de-Kent.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
