Moncton, NB – Sandra (Bishop) Arseneault, 69, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Sunday, November 9, 2014, after an illness.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late James Sr. and the late Francis (Thompson) Bishop.
Sandra enjoyed baking, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, especially her music who she shared with her boyfriend Bob (her Elvis) and loved animals. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved sharing it with her family.
Sandra will be sadly missed by her son, Bradley McPhee of Moncton; her two daughters, Cassandra Parisee (Ted) and Kimberly McPhee (Dennis Miller) both of Ottawa, ON; her brother, James Bishop Jr. (Lorna) of Moncton; her two sisters, Alice Matchett (Earl) and Donna Lewis (Charlie) both of Moncton; her three grandchildren, Jordan, Andrew and Cody; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Andrew.
As per Sandra’s request, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be private with family and close friends at a later date.
Donations to the Parkinson Society Canada or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
A special thanks to the night nurses of the palliative care unit on the 3rd floor at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.
