Shirley Cormier
1934 ~ 2020
Portage, NB – Shirley Cormier, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020.
Born in Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Chesley Riche and the late Helen Riche (born England).
Shirley will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 67 years of marriage, Gérard Cormier of Portage; two sons, Michael and Gérard Jr Cormier, both of Cap-Pelé; three daughters, Helen Cormier (Ross Rowsell) of Portage, Janet Cormier of Shediac and Carol Cormier (Maurice Brun) of Portage; one brother, the Honorable David Riche (late Patricia) of Newfoundland; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews from Newfoundland.
Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Harold and Chesley Jr; also by one sister, Doreen.
Visitation will be held at Sainte-Thérèse-D’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020, from 10am until time of the funeral service at the church at 11am.
