1936–2018
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Pierre and late Emma Hébert (nee Babineau).
Stan worked at Ben’s Bakery, Moncton for 43 years, a very active sportsman and camper at Gagnon Beach in Cap Pele. He was very active in Knights of Columbus Council # 6468. He also played in Parkton Men’s Bowling League Club and the Louis Hebert K of C Pool League.
He had a great love and concern for family and friends. Besides his wife, Marie-Paule of Moncton, Stan will be sadly missed by his two children: Louise (Louis) Bertrand of New Maryland and Paul (Denise) of Moncton; he was idolized by his four grandchildren: Mathieu of Ottawa, Daniel of New Maryland, Mélanie Hébert of Moncton and Julie (Jacques) Girouard of Riverview, by his great grandson Sébastien Lyness. He also leaves to mourn his sister: Stella Hébert of Grande–Digue; his two brothers: Albé (Thérèse) of Grande-Digue, and Albert (Bernadette) of Irishtown; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Stan was predeceased by three brothers: Théodore, Mélas and Fred and four sisters; Lina, Aline, Sara and Valida.
The family will receive condolences at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be no visitation the day of the funeral mass.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame-de-Grâce RC Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB, on Monday, May 7th, 2018 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Pierre Whitlock, unit 4A and the palliative care unit for the care Stan received.
