Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB – Stella LeBlanc, 88, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side, on Friday, July 3, 2020.
Born in St-Norbert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Élise Caissie (born Maillet).
Stella was a dedicated teacher, an artist, and an avid gardener. She loved travelling and sightseeing, spending a good part of each summer camping with her husband, friends, and family. She was the heart and soul of her family.
Stella will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Ulysse LeBlanc; her children, Diane DeCoste (Gerry Legere) of Moncton, Charles LeBlanc (Camilla Johnson) of Moncton, Ginette Bourgeois (Guy) of Ste-Marie and Bernard LeBlanc (Jeannette) of Fort McMurray;, her brother, Gérard Caissie (Géralda) of Richibouctou and her sister, Noëlla Maillet (late Léo) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; her eight grandchildren, Nadine and Pierre Decoste (Julia Quondam), Mathieu and Nathalie LeBlanc, Martine Bourgeois and Mireille Maillet (Marcel), France Mazerolle (Sam) and Rénée Mazerolle (Rob); her four great grandchildren, Noah, Dylan, Braelyn and Emersyn; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her sister, Thérèse Savoie (late Léo-Paul) of Toronto, passed away Saturday July 4, 2020.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Lina and her five brothers, Aquila, Lionel, Émile, Alcide and Laurie.
Private visitation and funeral service will be at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge.
