Stephen Frank Bishop, 74, of Dieppe, and formerly of Bartibog, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Bath, NB, he was the son of the late Robert and the late Elizabeth (née: Davidson) Bishop.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Bishop was employed by UPM. He enjoyed farming and fishing and especially working on his antique car "1953 Hudson".
He is survived by his wife, Odette (née: Leger); two daughters: Elizabeth (Nanda) and Linda (Jon); three sons: Raymond, Stephen Jr. (April) and Carmen (Nicole); four sisters: Ruth (Charlie), Judy (late Doug), Jessie (Dan) and Viota (David); three brothers: Bryce (Della), Lance (Linda) and Rance; 11 grandchildren: Josh, Emma, Ethan, Hunter, Rayne, Jeremy, Courtney, Jordan, Kyle, Lauren and Jonathan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Carole (née: Connell); one sister, Diane and also by one brother, Allen.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure.
A mass of Christian burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at 11 am.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation "Oncology" would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Bath, N.-B., il était fils de feu Robert et de feu Elizabeth (née Davidson) Bishop.
Avant sa retraite, M. Bishop avait travaillé à l’UPM. Il aimait la pêche et l’agriculture, ainsi que de travailler sur sa voiture «1953 Hudson».
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Odette (née Leger); deux filles: Elizabeth (Nanda) et Linda (Jon); trois fils: Raymond, Stephen Jr. (April) et Carmen (Nicole); quatre soeurs: Ruth (Charlie), Judy (feu Doug), Jessie (Dan) et Viota (David); trois frères: Bryce (Della), Lance (Linda) et Rance; 11 petits-enfants: Josh, Emma, Ethan, Hunter, Rayne, Jeremy, Courtney, Jordan, Kyle, Lauren et Jonathan, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Sa 1ère épouse, Carole (née Connell); une soeur, Diane, ainsi qu’un frère, Allen, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901), le vendredi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h et le samedi de 9h jusqu’à l’heure du départ.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Sainte-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le samedi 3 octobre 2015, à 11h.
Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont «Oncologie» serait apprécié par la famille.
