Grande-Digue, NB – Thérèse Léger, 90, passed away suddenly at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, after a brief illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Onésime and Zélia (LeBlanc) Bourque.
Thérèse will be sadly missed by her husband, Edmond Léger; her son, Gérard (Nicole) of Grande-Digue; her two daughters, Gisèle Léger (Kate) of Shediac River and Monique Goguen (Ulysse) of Cocagne; her two brothers, Néri (Florence) of Grande-Digue and Émile (Louise) of St-Anselme; her three sisters-in-law, Rita, Claudette and Annette; her three grandchildren, Marielle (Miguel), Mathieu (Courtney) and Christophe (Stéphanie); her five great grandchildren, Shaefer, Arielle, Mikel, Annabelle and Alexandre; also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her four brothers, Désiré, Gérard, Eric and Alyre; her grandson, Louis.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Monday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11 am. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
