Cocagne, NB – Thérèse Léger, 87, passed away peacefully at the Manoir St-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Adonis and Marie-Jeanne (Hébert) Allain.
Thérèse will be sadly missed by her five sons, Paul-Emile (Ida) of Memramcook, Gérard (Solange), Bernard (Joanne), Ronald all of Cocagne and Louis (Shoko) of Moncton; her four daughters, Léonette Chevarie (Rick) of Bouctouche, Magella Léger, Gloria Léger (François) and Carolle Léger (Jean-Marc) all of Cocagne; her half-sister, Jeannette Richard of Ste-Anne; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Omer (2011); three brothers, Paul, Adolphe and Patrick; four sisters, Nelida, Léona, Jeanne and SR. Anna; one grandson, Robert.
Visitations will be held at the St-Pierre de Cocagne slumber room on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10 to 12 pm and 2 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 4 pm. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Manoir St-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
