Notre-Dame, NB – Thérèse Melanson, 95, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018.

Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jaddus and the late Hélène (nee Bourque) Goguen.
Thérèse will be missed by her four children, Gilberte (Mac) of Wyndell, BC, Valmond (Loretta) of Cocagne, Denise (Armand) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent and Victor (Linda) of Cocagne; her two sisters, Marie Doucet (late Bernard) and Imelda Goguen (late David Jacob) both of Moncton; her nine grandchildren, Angèle, Julie, Carole, Lisa, Maryse, Christine, Jason, Selena and Jean-Rémi; her fourteen great grandchildren, Anthony, Emmanuel, Marguerite, Léo, Rose, Chloé, Alek, Matthew, Anabelle, Malik, Mikel, Maëli, Alexa and Éloise; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eudore (2015); four brothers, Désiré, Roméo, Adrien and Joseph; one sister, Marguerite.

Visitations will be at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Slumber Room in Cocagne, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 10 am until time of funeral at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church, Cocagne at 11 am.
