Dieppe – Mr. Thomas (Tommy) Gallant, 85, of Dieppe and formerly of Barachois, NB, passed away on Saturday, April 28th, 2012, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Barachois, NB on May 22nd, 1926, he was the son of the late Thomas Gallant and the late Monique Gallant.
Thomas (Tommy) Gallant was in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 20 years.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Louise of Dieppe and his son, Tom (Frances) of Cape Breton; three sisters: Berthe (late Camille) Cormier of Haute Aboujagane, Georgette (Euclide) Gallant of Barachois and Sara (Laurie) Boudreau of Shediac and also one brother, Gonzague (late Anna) of Barachois.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Bernadette LeBlanc and Alice LeBlanc as well as six brothers: Edmond, Camille, Stanislas, Ulric, Alphonse and Omer.
Cremation to take place, no visitation or funeral.
Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Funeral arrangement entrusted to the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901).
Dieppe – À l’hôpital de Moncton, le samedi 28 avril, 2012, à l’âge de 85 ans, est décédé Thomas (Tommy) Gallant. Il demeurait à Dieppe et autrefois de Barachois, N.-B.
Né à Barachois, N.-B., le 22 mai, 1926, il était fils de feu Thomas Gallant et de feu Monique Gallant.
Thomas (Tommy) Gallant avait travaillé pour l’aviation de l’air Canadienne pendant 20 ans.
Il sera manqué par son épouse, Louise de Dieppe et son fils, Tom (Frances) du Cape Breton; trois sœurs: Berthe (feu Camille) Cormier de Haute Aboujagane, Georgette (Euclide) Gallant de Barachois et Sara (Laurie) Boudreau de Shediac ainsi qu’un frère, Gonzague (feu Anna) de Barachois.
Deux soeurs: Bernadette LeBlanc et Alice LeBlanc ainsi que six frères: Edmond, Camille, Stanislas, Ulric, Alphonse et Omer l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Cremation, aucune visite ou funéraille.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
La direction des funérailles a été confiée aux soins professionnels de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901).
