Grande-Digue, NB – Ulysse Vautour, 80, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 11, 2013, after a brief illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB on April 27, 1933, he was the son of the late Auguste and late Marie (Arsenault) Vautour.
Ulysse will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Norma Landry (Ronald) of Cap-Pelé and Odette Pellerin (Charles) of Cocagne; his son, Guy Vautour (Lynne) of Shediac; his brother, Yvon Vautour (Cécile) of Cap-Pelé; his five sisters, Rose LeBlanc (late Ambroise) of Shediac, Émilia Bourque (Edmond), Anne-Marie LeBlanc (Orice) both of Grande-Digue, Jeanne d’Arc LeBlanc of St-Antoine and Alma Bourque (Léonard) of Scoudouc; his six grandchildren, Jeremie, Christine, Maxime, Isabel, Jonathan and Melissa; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jeannine (2003); one sister, Marguerite; one infant brother, Henri; one half-sister, Germaine and two half-brothers, Aldérice and Alcide.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 9:30 until 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parish of Grande-Digue in care of the cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
