Una Bourque
1932 – 2018
St-Antoine, NB – Una Bourque, 85, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, June 17, 2018.
Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Telex and Véronique (Duguay) Bourque.
Una will be sadly missed by her seven children, Iona Arsenault (Ronald) of Cocagne, Terry (Ginette) of Cocagne, Bernice Kelly (John) of Fredericton, Léonard (Lana) of Napean, ON, Debbie French (Dan) of Wainwright, AB, Murielle Hogan (Geoff) of Riverview and Marc (Marie-Ange) of Saint-John; her fourteen grandchildren, Serge, Chantal, Stéphanie, Maryline, Christina, Ryan, Keith, Scott, Ashley, Kyle, Amy, Alex, Matthieu and Jessica; her seven great grandchildren, Émilie, Janelle, Kayla, Olivia, Riley, Xavier and Félix; her three brothers-in-law, Lawrence Poirier, Normand Babineau and Douglas Budd; her four sisters-in-law, Lucille Bourque, Irène Desroches, Carmeline Bourque and Viola Bourque; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alcide Bourque; her sisters, Auréa (Late Roméo), Bertha (late Ted) and Edith (Late Nelson); her brother, Aquila.
Visitations will be at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Slumber Room in Cocagne, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9 am until time of funeral service at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church, Cocagne at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Diabetes Association, “Résidence Au Bénaise” (Activities Unit) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
