Notre-Dame, NB – Valmond J. McGraw, 67, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, after a lengthy illness.
Born in MacDougall Sett., NB, he was the son of the late Alphée and Anne-Marie (Babineau) McGraw.
Valmond will be sadly missed by his two sons, Valmond A. McGraw of Brampton ON, Mathieu McGraw LeBlanc of Notre-Dame; his daughter, Tammy Hoskins (Steve) of Shelburn, ON; his two brothers, Gérard (Noëlla) of MacDougall Sett., Guy (Janice) of Shediac; his four sisters, Géraldine Williams (late Raymond) of Wisener, Aurelda Tomczyk (Bill), Lilianne Gallant (Raymond) and Bertha Levesque (Michel) all of MacDougall Sett.; his four grandchildren, Brent, Alyssa, Hailey and Lucas; his close friend, Florine LeBlanc of Notre-Dame; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Valmond and one brother, Yvon they both passed away at birth.
As per Valmond’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11 am. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Liver Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
