Cocagne, NB – Victor Richard, 73, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Monday, December 9, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Cocagne, NB, on January 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Patrick and the late Aline (Leger) Richard.
He was a fisherman and worked at Westmorland Fisheries.
Victor will be sadly missed by his wife, Norma Mazerolle; his three brothers, Donald (Léola), Arsène (Jacqueline) and Maurice (Jeannette) all of Cocagne; his two sisters, Claudette Boucher (late Vincent) of Leominster, Mass, Jeannette LeBlanc (Rhéal) of Richibouctou-Village; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Cocagne Slumber Room on Thursday, December 12, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 9:30 am until time of the funeral. The funeral mass will be at the St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Church on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11 am. A reception will follow.
