Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Ulysse and Marguerite “Babe” (Arsenault) Cormier.
Punchy will be sadly missed by his two twin sons, Joshua and Joel Babineau of Moncton; his stepdaughter, Mandy Babineau of Moncton; his two brothers, George (Linda) of Scoudouc and Paul (Joy) of Lewisville; his sister, Patricia Cormier (Terry) of Moncton; his two grandchildren, Dawson and Ryker; his special niece, Lisa Cormier Dupèré (Gerald) of Moncton; his lifelong best friends, Bob, Gordie and Ulysse; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Terrance.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
