Moncton, NB – Wilfred Gautreau, 75, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, February 15, 2018, after a courageous battle with bone cancer.
Born in Pré-d’en-Haut, NB, he was the son of the late Yvon and Rita (Arsenault) Gautreau.
Wilfred will be sadly missed by four sons, Victor (Susan) of Vancouver, BC, Wilfred JR. (Janet), Stephen both of Chatham, ON, Donnie of Vancouver, BC; his daughter, Darlene Parker (Frank) of Chatham, ON; his two brothers, Claude (Alice) and Ronald (Gloria) both of Moncton; his four sisters, Jeannette Gautreau (late Léo-Paul), Francine Cormier (Sylvio) both of Moncton, Charline Gautreau of Shediac and Janice LeBlanc (Guy) of Dieppe; his seven grandchildren, Joshua, Devon, TonyLynn, Chelsea, Frank, Camille and Amanda; his seven great grandchildren, Caden, Frankie, Lucas, Mason, Léa, Mya and Motoya; also by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at a later date for the immediate family only.
Donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We, the family would like to thank the staff of Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC (Unit 3A), the Palliative care for their special care and attention and also Dr.Guy Breau.
