Grande-Digue, NB – Wilfred Hébert, 88, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, after a brief illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB on June 29, 1925, he was the son of the late Evariste and the late Mélina (Leger) Hébert.
Wilfred will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannine Hébert; his son, Marcel (Rachel) of Grande-Digue; his two daughters, Rachelle (Joey) of Barachois and Annette (Léo) of Grande-Digue; his three brothers, Laurie (Laudia), Yvon (Géraldine) and Adrien (Dora) all of Grande-Digue; his four sisters, Viola Gallant (late Alyre), Rita Surette (late Léopold) both of Shediac, Doris Caissie (late Normand) of Grande-Digue and Annette Leger (Alcide) of Dieppe; his sister-in-law, Jeanne of Grande-Digue; his brother-in-law, Alban of St-Antoine; his grandson, Mitch (Marcia) of Barachois; he also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Andréa Gallant, Cécile LeBlanc and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Pierre; one infant brother, Odule; four sisters, Eva-Mai, Bernadette, Anida and Germaine.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11 am.
