Grande-Digue, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) FitzPatrick, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Moncton Hospital, at the age of 74.
Born in Lord’s Cove, NL, on February 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Henry and Laura (Lamb) FitzPatrick.
Bill leaves to mourn his wife of 51 years, Claire (Goguen); his two daughters, Michelle Sinkins (John) of Cambridge, ON and Kelly FitzPatrick of Hamilton, ON; his son, Steve of Grand-Barachois; his two granddaughters, Brittany FitzPatrick and Chelsey Sinkins. Bill is also survived by his three sisters, Marie Strang, Lorraine Collins and Marjorie Cooper all of St. John’s, NL.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral service.
Donations can be made to the Moncton Hospital or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We, the family, would like to thank the staff of the palliative care at the Moncton Hospital for their special care; also a special thank you to Dr. Alan Phelan.
