Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB – Yvon Dallaire, 95, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Abel and the late Eléonore Dallaire (nee Maillet); his loving wife, Lorraine Dallaire (nee LeBlanc) passed away in 2009.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his three sons, Ronald (Roberte), Fernand (Alice) both of Bouctouche and Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire of Moncton/Dieppe; his four daughters, Claudette Girouard (Armand) of Dieppe, Phyllis Allain (Marc) of St-Antoine, Francine Cormier (Ronald) and Pierrette Boucher (Gilles) both of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; five brothers, Fred (Yvette) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Laurie (late Claudette), Donald (Joan) both of Bouctouche, Normand (late Claire) and Roger (Aline) both of Massachusetts, USA; his sister, Jeannette Jaillet (late Henri) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; his eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; also by his special friend, Yvonne.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by five brothers, Télex, Oscar, Gérald, Paul and Ovila.
Visitation will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel slumber room in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel RC Church, to the Parish Cemetery or to a charity of your choice.
