Grande-Digue, NB – Yvon Hébert, 89, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Évariste and Mélina (nee Léger) Hébert.

Yvon was a proud owner of Hébert Lumber Mills. He loved to play music and dance.

Yvon will be sadly missed by his wife, Géraldine (nee LeBlanc); his son, Daniel (Joanne LeBlanc); his daughter, Camilla Cormier (Roland); his two brothers, Laurie (Laudia) and Adrien (Dora); his two sisters, Annette Léger (late Alcide) and Dorice Caissie (late Normand); his two grandchildren, Danielle (Gaetan) and Mario (Jill); his great grandson, Meka; also by several nephews and nieces.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Pierre, Wilfred and Odule; six sisters, Viola Gallant, Anida Léger, Germaine Gagnon, Bernadette Freeze, Éva-Mai Bourgeois and Rita Surette.

Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Tuesday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology), Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
