Bouctouche, NB – Yvon Nowlan, 87, passed away suddenly at his residence, on Monday, October 28, 2013.
Born in Bouctouche, NB on March 20, 1926, he was the son of the late Henri and Beatrice (LeBlanc) Nowlan.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lynn of Ottawa, ON; his son, Alan of Kapuskasing, ON; his three brothers, Roger (late Diana) and Patrick (Viola), both of Bouctouche, Adelard (Jeannette) of Leominster, MASS; his sister, Bertha (Joseph Girouard) of Leominster, MASS; his two granddaughters, Jenna and Chantal; his great grandson, Markus; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha (Gaulin); three sisters, Doris, Delma and Rita; two brothers, Alex and Edgar; and a great grandson, Jackson.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, October 31st, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and on Friday, November 1st from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Funeral service will be held at the St-Jean-Baptiste RC Church in Bouctouche, on Friday, November 1st at 12:30 pm.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
