Yvon Richard, 53, of Dieppe and formerly of Lakeburn passed away on Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of Gerald and Lina (née: Gosselin) Richard.
Mr. Richard was self employed as a carpenter, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 10271 and of the St. Anselme Parish.
Besides his parents, Gerald and Lina of Dieppe, he is survived by his wife, Louise (née: LeBlanc); one daughter, Marie-Anne of Dieppe; fours sons: Bertin (Tanya), Rejean (Tina), Denis (Catherine) and Luc, all of Dieppe; three sisters: Gloria Richard (Larry) of Dorchester, Yvonne (Arthur) Auffrey of Moncton and Roberte (Camille) Caissie of Dieppe; four brothers: Guy of Montreal, Maurice (Dianne), Eugene (Lina) and Jean (Claudette) all three of Dieppe; four grandchildren: Pierre, Catherine, Nicolas and Rémi as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Robert.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from St- Anselme Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 23rd, 2006 at 10 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
