Zoël Landry, 78, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, October 15th, 2010, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
Born in St.-Louis-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Frederic and the late Roseanne (née: Chevarie) Landry.
Mr. Landry had worked at CBAFT “Radio-Canada” and was a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by three daughters: Annette (Joe) Richard of Dieppe, Yvette (Gaston) Richard of St.-Ignace and Charline (Michel) Melanson of Dieppe; two sons: Guy (Annette) of Dieppe and Roger (Debbie) of Ottawa, ON; his former wife: Norma (née: Richard); six sisters: Marie (late Albert) of Saint-John, Eliza (René) of Georgian Bay, ON, Roseline (Eloi) Bordage of Aldouane, Yvonne (Tilmon) Gray of Pictou, NS, Ethel (Clarence) Surette of Moncton and Alice (Alfred) LeBlanc of Bouctouche; one brother, Aurèle (Eugenie) of St.-Louis-de-Kent; nine grandchildren: Chantal, Jacques, Marcel, Yves, Sylvie, Christine, Lechelle, Julien and Stephanie and also by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters: Dianna, Alma and Bertha and also by four brothers: Edgar, Albert, Gérard and Emile.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chapel, on Wednesday October 20th, 2010 at 10 am.
Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Dr Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital “Palliative Care Unit” or the A.A. program would be appreciated by the family.

M. Landry avait travaillé pour CBAFT “Radio Canada” et était membre de la paroisse Ste-Thérèse.
Il laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Annette (Joe) Richard de Dieppe, Yvette (Gaston) Richard de St-Ignace et Charline (Michel) Melanson de Dieppe; deux fils: Guy (Annette) de Dieppe et Roger (Debbie) de Ottawa, ON; son ancienne épouse, Norma (née: Richard); six soeurs: Marie (feu Albert) de Saint-Jean, Eliza (René) de Georgian Bay, ON, Roseline (Eloi) Bordage de Aldouane, Yvonne (Tilmon) Gray de Pictou, N.-E., Ethel (Clarence) Surette de Moncton et Alice (Alfred) LeBlanc de Bouctouche; un frère, Aurèle (Eugenie) de St-Louis-de-Kent; neuf petits-enfants: Chantal, Jacques, Marcel, Yves, Sylvie, Christine, Lechelle, Julien et Stephanie ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Trois soeurs: Dianna, Alma et Bertha ainsi que quatre frères: Edgar, Albert, Gérard et Emile.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mardi de 19h à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en la Chapelle de la maison funéraire, le mercredi 20 octobre, 2010 à 10h.
L’inhumation se fera au colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Dr Georges-L.-Dumont” Unité Soins Palliatif” ou au programme AA serait apprécié par la famille.
