My sincerest condolences to Leslie’s family. You have my deepest sympathy. Wishing peace, comfort and lots of love in this time of sorrow. I have fond memories at Aunt Leslie and she will be missed dearly.
I have known Leslies’ husband Milne for over 50 years and Leslie for as long as she was with Milne. She perpetually had a bright smile and always had a kind word to say. She also provided helpful guidance and you always knew that these insights were coming from a person with greater than average intelligence. She will be missed by all that knew her.
I will always remember her smile and easy going manner. What a lovely person she was and a good friend. She will be missed.
Milne, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathies to the family and friend

A great smile, a great conversation, a great dinner party hostess, you will be missed, but not forgotten.
Your cookies will be a great hit in your new surroundings.
Your friendship was the only thing better than your cookies.
I’m so sorry MIlne. I only met Leslie once – at the lunch you hosted for us. I am glad to have made her aquaintance.
Leslie was a friend in high school at Lucas SS London Ontario. She was always so kind and smiling and would help you if you needed anything. My sister Sherry and Leslie reconnected after many years and renewed their friendship. Leslie was always one of the first to like or comment on my facebook posts! I know she will be sorely missed by Milne, her son and many friends. My sincerest condolences.
My most sincere condolences to Leslie’s family and friends.
What a friend, from the moment we met (about 25 years ago) Lise and I only have warm, beautiful and joyful memories of Leslie. Her smile, her ‘’Joie de vivre’’, her warm hug made you welcome. Lise and I remembered the first night we met at your place in Cobourg, You received us as long-time friends. What was supposed to be a one night stand became a friendship for life. Who can forget the good time we had. We have such fine memories of both of you. Leslie will remain engrave in our heart forever. Our deepest sympathy to you Milne, Mathieu, Joelle et Xavier
Leslie was one of the most positive and enthusiastic people we have ever met! A lovely lady with a zest for life, gone too soon.
We will miss our friendly neighbor and think back to all our wonderful conversations and moments shared together.
Leslie was a ray of sunshine that we will definitely miss on our street! Our deepest condolences to her amazing life partner Milne and her son Matthieu and family.
Kindest regards,
Stephanie and Jason Flanagan
My heartfelt condolences to you Milne, and to the family, I have known Leslie and Milne from their days in Cobourg and through our common affection for those devilish Scottish Terriers. Leslie and I commuted from Cobourg to Toronto and back for several years together, three hours a day, every work day, with a small band of sympathetic companions; always alot of fun and with many a memorable trip. Leslie was one of the best persons that I have ever met; authentic, smart, humourous, upbeat and caring, Leslie was a bright light and the world much the dimmer for her passing. I will very much miss her and our conversations.
So sorry to hear about Leslie’s passing. Kim and I will have you and your family in our thoughts at this time.
Dear Leslie,
Where do we begin to tell you how much joy you brought to all of us …
Although we no longer have your laugh and your smile, the memories of all the great times will last and be cherished forever.
Our sincere condolences to you Milne, as well as Mathieu, Joelle and Xavier. Her words spoken about all of you showed her deep love. ❤️❤️❤️
Be well where you are Leslie, and grace them with your smile.
Milne and family,
Condolences on your loss. Bob Henry
Dear Milne, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet Leslie but she must have been a pretty special person to have captured your heart. You will always be in my thoughts Trent buddy.
My heartfelt condolences to you Milne & family in the loss of a truly lovely lady. Leslie was a true friend & when you find one like her you hold them close to your heart. Also one to give a hug or a warm smile & many positive vibes at all times. Feeling very sad that I won’t converse with my friend & will miss her intelligent conversations on so many matters. Milne I am so glad that you have so many wonderful memories to share with your friends. My thoughts will be with you as you see her off to her better place. I miss her already, Rose

Our sympathy to Milne and Leslie’s family.
We will miss her.
Leslie was my first friend I made in 1st grade in London, Ontario. We went to high school together. I moved to Toronto and Leslie moved to Montreal. Several years later Leslie moved back to Toronto and I moved to California. We always kept in touch. Leslie came to California to visit. When I went to Toronto, we would spend time together.
I will miss her Facebook postings and notes.
Condolences to Milne and family.
Dear Milne,
My deepest sympathies to you. Stephen has told me often about the great times shared with you and Leslie. The only solace is knowing that we always carry the people we love in our hearts forever. I wish you all the best.
Warmest wishes, Craig Bugden
Milne, Mathieu and family. So sorry to hear of Leslie’s passing. We always enjoyed our visits with you guys, when you were here in Cobourg. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to the east often enough. Leslie had a genuinely wonderful personality. I don’t think I ever heard her speak an unkind word. We’re sure her loss will leave a void in your hearts, but, remember the wonderful memories that were created. We’ll sadly the miss the Happy Birthday song duet, that was Milne and Leslie! Deepest sympathies,

Our deepest sympathies Milnes and the family for your lost
Our deepest sympathies Milne and the family on your lost
I first knew Lesley when she worked at Cobourg’s VIA station and came to know her well. She quickly welcomed me as a friend of hers and Milne’s and we had many happy times together, including walks with Angus and Emma, their Scotties and visits to my cottage. Never will I forget the passion for food that she had. A great friend who will be missed, but I’m happy that I knew her.
Sincerest condolences to Milne and her family.
I have only fond memories of Leslie when we worked together at the Toronto TSO. My sincere condolences to her much loved family.
Fond memories remembered from her days at VIA Rail in Moncton. The world has lost such a wonderful and spirited person.
My deepest condolences to Leslie’s family.
To be counted among her many friends was a privilege. Her joy of life was contagious. Her courage was unbelievable. Leslie we will always remember you and the very special person you were.
My deepest sympathies to you and the family Milne.
I got to know Leslie when she moved to Moncton. Really enjoyed our chats we had at work at Via Rail. She was always active in riding her bike. Condolences to family and friends. She will be missed.
Milne, it is with great sadness that I learned about Leslie’s death. I unite myself with others to offer you and the family my deepest condolences. Big hugs my dear friend. May her soul rest in peace 🙏🏾
Milne, we are so sorry to learn of Leslie’s passing. Thinking of you during this difficult time. You’ve both been wonderful neighbours.
Million I worked with you endlessly, I think longer with Leslie at Union Station. She was a wonderful person and I am so glad that U2 ended up together perfect match. My deepest condolences as ever Myrna Maclean.
Leslie and I went to high school together. After high school she visited me in Detroit. We lost touch and then years later I received a phone call from VIA rail about a schedule change. Amazingly, I recognized that voice from high school. Just like that we reconnected and resumed our friendship. We even met up in London for a weekend and drove by our old high school. We both commented on how much smaller it was than we remembered. What a joy it was to know Leslie. She will be sorely missed. Thank you Milne and Louise Boudreau for keeping me posted on Leslie’s condition. My heart goes out to Leslie’s family and friends who also feel the pain and the loss of a good person.
Our heartfelt condolences to you, Milne, and to the family. You and Leslie made a wonderful couple, and her premature departure has left a void in more lives than one would think possible. She was, quite simply, a lovely person who was invariably concerned about how you were doing, the welfare of the family (and the dog), and willing to reveal how she was faring. She was a good friend. Treasure the memories.
Gilles and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Leslie. We will forever cherish the precious moments spent with her every year at our grandson’s birthday. Her fine spirit, her outlook on life, her true kindness, were felt by all, and will be remembered.
Our thoughts are with Mathieu, Joëlle and Xavier, and with you Milne in this moment of deep sorrow.
Sandra Grant and Gilles Marchand, Joëlle’s parents
My deepest sympathy Milne and family! Her great smile will live in our memories.
We wish to express our profound sympathies on the passing of a wonderful lady. To Milne and all of the family members, may the grand memories of Leslie be comfort over the days and weeks ahead. With regret, Randy A. Roth, Moncton, NB.
I was.always in awe of how capable and creative Leslie was. She took on any project with great confidence. She had a good sense of humour, and was always fun to be around.
She can now rest in peace.💕

Friends are the family we choose for ourselves. Milne, Mathieu, Joelle and Xavier, you can be assured that Leslie is loved and will be missed by all of us, each a part her family. The wonderful memories we have of her will remain. May all of us celebrate the times we have shared with Leslie, and her positive outlook on life.
Our condolences to Milne, and to Leslies’ family.
To Milne & family. I will always remember the weekend visit when Milne & Leslie came to visit and operate model trains on my layout for hours on end. The love and companionship they had for each other was inseparable. My heart felt condolences go out to Milne and Leslie’s families during this difficult time.
Our deepest condolences to Milne, Mathieu, Joelle, Xavier, and Leslie’s large group of friends. As two of her friends we miss her but cherish our memories of the many great times that we shared. While she may be physically gone from our lives but her energy/soul continues to be with her family and friends.
The Moment that you Left Me
by Doug Craven
The moment that you left me
My heart split in two
One side filled with memories
The other side died with you
I often lay awake at night
When the world is fast asleep
and take a walk down memory lane
With tears upon my cheek
Remembering you is easy
I do it everyday
But missing you is a heartache
That never goes away
I hold you tightly within my heart
And there you will remain
As my life goes on without you
But will never be the same.
Milne – I was saddened to hear that Leslie had passed away. I know that you and Leslie had many wonderful times together and you will miss her very much. Thinking of you.
My deepest condolences to families and friends.💔🙏🌹🌻
